- 10-gauge steel with a patented U-crimp design
- Doors and track are 1/4" plate steel
- Patented two-piece lid, held by 4 bolts, doubles as an emergency exit
- Automatic locking door
- Welded inside and out, then powder coated
- Two 3/4" U-crimps on each side for strength and to resist floating
- Laser-cut parts
- Built for an existing garage or new construction
Impact tested at the Texas Tech Wind Science and Engineering Research Center. Meets or exceeds FEMA and ICC 500 standards. The lid opens with a ratchet, a 3" extension, and a 9/16" socket.

Additional Information
The large shelter needs a 4' x 8' floor opening. The x-large shelter needs a 5'8" x 8' floor opening. A vehicle can park over the shelter when it is closed.
